1856年，羅浮宮新廈剛落成，展示了多個重要歷史人物的雕像，包羅科技、藝術、農業、工業、商業各大領域，當然也包括興建羅浮宮的歷代著名建築師。
Completed in 1856, the new court of the Louvre showcased statues of several important historical figures from various fields including science, art, agriculture, industry, and commerce, as well as famous architects who contributed to the construction of the Louvre.
