北京中山公園位於紫禁城南面，天安門西側，它原是明清兩代的社稷壇，於太廟（今勞動人民文化宮）一起沿襲周代以「左祖右社」而建造。公園佔地23萬平方米，是一座紀念性的古典園林公園。
Located south of the Forbidden City and west of Tiananmen, Beijing Zhongshan Park was originally the Altar of Land and Grain in the Ming and Qing dynasties, built alongside the Temple of Ancestors (now the Working People's Cultural Palace) following the Zhou Dynasty's tradition of "ancestor on the left and land on the right". The park covers an area of 230,000 square meters and is a memorial classical garden park.
